Background
This client is a B2B retailer of LED screens and LED posters. When they came to us their site ran on a bloated WordPress build. Organic performance was reasonable, but the site was slow and converting poorly, and every on-page change was a struggle, which held the SEO campaign back.
We rebuilt the site as a much slimmer, cleaner and bespoke WordPress build. That gave us a fast site that converts better, room to expand the service offering, and the ability to spin up dedicated product offers quickly. It also removed the ceiling on the SEO work, since on-page changes could finally be made freely.
Since launch, comparing the last three months with the same period a year earlier, organic clicks are up from 1,760 to 2,410 and Page 1 positions from 50 to 90. Over the life of the campaign, “led screen” has moved from position 20 to 3 and “led poster” from unranked to 3. Website conversions have improved alongside.
